Frequently asked questions
Who is this for?
8th graders preparing for the HSPT (the High School Placement Test used by Catholic high schools), and the parents helping them.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT?
Clover knows the HSPT's five sections and skills, tracks what your student has mastered, and practices from questions whose answers have been checked. A general chatbot does none of that, and it gets answer keys wrong more often than you'd think.
Do we need a credit card to start?
No. The diagnostic, the parent report, your first full-length practice exam, and your first 20 messages with Clover are free.
What happens to my student's information?
It's used to coach them and to build the parent report. We don't sell it or use it for ads. The privacy policy has the details.
What if it's not a fit?
The Season Pass starts with a 7-day free trial. Cancel from Manage billing before it ends and you won't be charged. Questions? Email support@hsptcoach.com.
When does the Season Pass end?
January 31, 2027. That's after the January HSPT sitting, with room for late test dates.
Which plan should we pick?
If the test is more than two months away, the Season Pass costs less. Monthly is for trying it out or a short final push.
Can we cancel?
Monthly plans cancel anytime from Manage billing and stay active until the end of the paid month. The Season Pass starts with a 7-day free trial, then is a one-time payment with no renewal. Payments after the free trial aren't refundable, but if something went wrong, email support@hsptcoach.com and we'll make it right.
